The Houston NFBPW Club takes off for the summer. The location and time of the meeting will be confirmed by August 1, 2018. Join us for our meeting as we return to business for the fall 2018.

Our general body meeting date is TBD. This meeting will present the following: 

  • A recap of the NFBPWC General Assembly + order of operations
  • NFBPW Houston Club's participation in the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals
  • Review of the membership survey
  • Details and updates on the Heart of A Woman 2019
  • Recommendations for projects for 2019/2020

The National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc. will gather July 20 - 23, 2018 in Orlando, Florida for the 5th Biennial General Assembly and Conference. The North American and Caribbean will work to align and organize procedural goals and updates towards the United Nation's 17 Sustainable Development Goals. 

This time will also be a much needed opportunity for BOW women from around the world to exchange information, care, and encouragement for each other!  

*NOTE* The Houston Club will present a session on our first signature event, Heart of A Woman on Sunday, July 22 at 2:30p. Maya Ford is the presenter.

Heart of a Woman

Heart disease is the number one killer of women in the United States, yet many women are unaware of their risk factors and potential symptoms that are often much different from the classic chest pain experienced by men. 

We invite you to attend this free exposition in collaboration with Houston Methodist Hospital with complimentary breakfast and lunch.
